Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, having a 67.9 score against 64.8. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 construction is way newer and a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7's, although it is somewhat heavier. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way better number of pixels per screen inch, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a larger display. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features more memory for apps and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 32 GB.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a way more megapixels camera in the back.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 not only is the best tablets of the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest.
