Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a global score of 67.9 against 58.1. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a way newer tablet device, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a same size display, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a way better screen pixels density and a way better 1600 x 2560px resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 feature incredibly similar storage for applications and games, they have equal 64 GB internal storage.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much faster processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot better resolution back camera and a way higher (Full HD) video definition. Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 8.9, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
