Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 75.2, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 global score. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is an older portable tablet than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it is just a little bit thinner and lighter anyway. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor and a 2 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a GPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a little bit better looking screen than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a just a little better count of pixels per display inch.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 shoots better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features just a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it an easy decision.
