Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) has a general score of 47, which is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire 2's 45.3 overall score. Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013)'s body is newer, somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire 2. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) has newer 4.2.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire 2 has Android 4.0 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
