Despite being the best tablet device we compare here, Acer Iconia Tab A100's construction is noticeably older, thicker and notably heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013). Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Acer Iconia Tab A100 has 4.0.3 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) has Android 4.2.2.
