The Acer Predator 8 is a noticeably newer tablet device, and it is also just a little thinner and extremely lighter than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Acer Predator 8 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0.
