The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 67.9, which is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's overall score of 55.7. These tablets use Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0.
