Huawei MediaPad M1 has a score of 61.5, which is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's global score of 55.7. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M1 has the newer 4.2.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0, so it gives lots of additional features. Huawei MediaPad M1's design is newer, somewhat thinner and much lighter than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has a bit better looking display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a better pixels density, a way better 1200 x 1920px resolution and a bit bigger display. The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a very superior battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.
