The LG G Pad 8.3 has an overall score of 65.9, which is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's 55.7 overall score. These devices have Android operating system, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has a more recent 4.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0. LG G Pad 8.3's construction is newer, a lot lighter and a bit thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.
