The Microsoft Surface Pro is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, getting a general score of 63.2 against 55.7. Even being the best tablet in this review, the Microsoft Surface Pro design is heavier and incredibly thicker than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE works with Android 4.0 OS.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a little more pixels per screen inch. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much better storage to install applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
