Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, having a 69.2 score against 55.7. Although it's the best tablet in this review, it must be told that it's also a somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier tablet. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 comes with Windows 8 OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE comes with Android 4.0 OS.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, because although the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM. The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot higher pixels quantity per screen inch.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a superior battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a very superior camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.
