Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a general score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's general score of 55.7. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 10.1 has newer 4.0.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0.
