Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, getting a overall score of 67.8 against 55.7. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has newer 4.4.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it counts with lots of additional features. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's processor is very similar to Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's processing unit, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has more cores , a much better graphics co-processor and 512 MB more RAM memory.
