Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, with a 65.6 score against 55.7. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0, giving lots of additional features and better performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's body has the same thickness than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, but it's noticeably lighter.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has lesser RAM memory and lesser cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a slightly better display than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, although it has a little worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a lot worse 1280 x 800px resolution and a lot smaller screen.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes much better photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a much longer battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is also by far the cheapest, making this tablet a great choice.
