Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab E has newer 4.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Tab E's body is extremely newer, lighter and a little bit thinner than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE counts with just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU.
