Comparison review

The Xperia Tablet S is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, with a 58.9 score against 55.7. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet S has a more recent 4.1.1 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0 version. Although it's the best we are comparing here, it must be told that it is also noticeably thicker and just a bit heavier.

Xperia Tablet S has a little better processing power than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Xperia Tablet S also has a better graphics processor and 2 more CPU cores. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE counts with a sharper display than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920.

The Xperia Tablet S features a greater camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE. Xperia Tablet S features much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet S also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE and Xperia Tablet S feature extremely similar battery performance.

Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Xperia Tablet S is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
