The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 general score. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the previous 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is older than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), it's design is lighter and just a little thinner.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a lot better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much higher pixel density. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a bit superior processor than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with an additional GPU. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a lot better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
