Comparison review

Google Nexus 7 (2013) is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 70.8 score against 60.8. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has newer 5.0 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2. Even when Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were released with only a couple of months difference, Google Nexus 7 (2013) is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a little faster processor than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much better graphics co-processor working at 450 megahertz. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit more vivid display than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same number of pixels per display inch, exactly the same resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a display of the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a brighter screen.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) captures way better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a very superior battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a lot more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
