The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a score of 75.5, which is a lot better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's global score of 60.8. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 design is much newer and thinner, but also a little heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has 8.0 Oreo version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing a couple additional features and performance enhancements.
