LG G Pad 8.3 is a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a score of 65.9 against 60.8. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has newer 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. Although the LG G Pad 8.3 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were released with only a couple of months difference, the LG G Pad 8.3 design is just a bit thinner but also a bit heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a little bit better performance than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has an additional graphics co-processor. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features just a bit better looking screen than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
LG G Pad 8.3 has a very superior battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although LG G Pad 8.3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy LG G Pad 8.3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up a couple features and specifications.
