Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's global score of 60.8. Microsoft Surface 3 is a newer and just a little bit thinner tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's also a lot heavier. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit superior processor than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with an extra GPU. The Microsoft Surface 3 shoots way better pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because it has 128 GB internal storage. Microsoft Surface 3 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 count with extremely similar batteries performance.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up some specifications.
