Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 global score. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, it must be told that it is also a a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier tablet. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 comes with Android 4.2.2 operating system.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and 2 more CPU cores. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a greater pixel amount per screen inch.
