Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface RT, having a 60.8 score against 58.4. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a newer tablet, and it is also lighter and a bit thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 comes with Android 4.2.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much better count of pixels per display inch. The Microsoft Surface RT's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's one, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage.
