Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a 66.7 score against 60.8. Samsung Ativ Tab is a heavier portable tablet than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but both of them are 0.35inches thick. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 works with Android 4.2.2 OS.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a higher number of cores and a much better graphics co-processor running at 450 MHz. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much sharper display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per screen inch and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution.
Samsung Ativ Tab captures much better pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a much longer battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go a couple specs and features.
