Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 65.9 score against 60.8. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's design is thinner but noticeably heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both were released only a couple months apart. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has the previous 4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has more cores, an extra graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit more memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
