Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a global score of 66.5 against 60.8. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, offering some nice extra features and increased performance. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 body is just a little bit lighter but somewhat thicker than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both of them were released only 5 months apart.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have a 450 MHz graphics co-processor, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has more processing cores and more RAM. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot better display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have a same size display, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a way higher pixels count per screen inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 shoots greater photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a really longer battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go some specs and features.
