Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a overall score of 68.7 against 60.8. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's design is somewhat thinner but just a little heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and they were released only a couple of months apart. Both devices we are comparing work with the same Android 4.2.2 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features.
