The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a global score of 70.2, which is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's general score of 60.8. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) construction is incredibly newer and a little thinner, but extremely heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, so it gives you a lot of extra features.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with a greater pixels density. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has less cpu cores (but faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with a graphics processing unit.
