The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a score of 74.5 against 60.8. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 design is newer and somewhat thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's, although it is also extremely heavier. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has 9.0 Pie version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with a higher screen pixel density. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a GPU.
