Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a score of 69 against 60.8. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has the previous 11 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a noticeably newer and somewhat thinner tablet device than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's also a little bit heavier.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a way better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a much better amount of pixels per display inch.
