Galaxy Tab A8 has a general score of 62.6, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's score of 60.8. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A8 has older 11 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2. Galaxy Tab A8's construction is a lot newer and extremely thinner, but much heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
