Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is way better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a score of 74.6 against 60.8. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, so it gives some additional features and optimized performance. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 body is a lot heavier but also thinner.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has a way worse 1200 x 1920 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a little bit better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's CPU is very similar to the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 one, both have 4 CPU cores, a 450 MHz graphics co-processor and a 2 GB RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 takes much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much better battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
