Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a lot better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 78.5 score against 60.8. Both tablets in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the newer 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, offering a couple additional features and performance optimizations. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's design is thinner but a lot heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and they were only released with a couple of months difference.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's CPU is just as good as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's processor, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has 1 GB more RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processor and a 450 megahertz GPU. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a very superior camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a lot more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
