Comparison review

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lot better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a 74.5 score against 60.8. Although Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were released only a couple of months apart, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is thinner and just a little bit lighter. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it offers some additional features.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a way worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a little smaller display and a bit lower display pixels density.
