Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's body is notably newer and noticeably thinner than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's, but it's also extremely heavier. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2.
