Comparison review
Apple iPad 4 is a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, having a 70.8 score against 68.5. Apple iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.2.2 operating system. The Apple iPad 4 body is somewhat thicker and much heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better looking screen than Apple iPad 4, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1600 x 2560px resolution and a better pixel amount per inch of display. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better performance than Apple iPad 4, because it has a much better 450 megahertz GPU, 1 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores.
Apple iPad 4 counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has more internal memory capacity. IPad 4 takes much better pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light captures.
