Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 68.5, which is slightly better than the Apple iPod touch 6th generation's general score of 65.6. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.2.2 OS, and Apple iPod touch 6th generation works with iOS 12.x OS. Even being the best in our current comparison, we must tell that it is also older, notably thicker and noticeably heavier.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a better screen than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, because although it has much less brightness, it also counts with a way larger display, a just a little better quantity of pixels per inch of display and a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a more powerful CPU than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has an additional graphics processor, a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
IPod touch 6th generation has much more storage to install games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has more internal storage capacity. Apple iPod touch 6th generation counts with a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and videos in low-light situations, they both have the same resolution back-facing camera.
