Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is better than the Asus Fonepad Note 6's global score of 58.7. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.2.2 version and Asus Fonepad Note 6 has Android 4.4 version. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 design is a lot heavier but noticeably thinner than Asus Fonepad Note 6.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better performance than Asus Fonepad Note 6, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores. Asus Fonepad Note 6 features a little sharper screen than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a much smaller display and a little bit opaque screen, it also counts with a little better pixel quantity in each inch in the screen.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with just a bit better camera than Asus Fonepad Note 6. Both of them have a 8 megapixels back camera. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Asus Fonepad Note 6, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Asus Fonepad Note 6's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery life in Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
