Asus Fonepad Note 6 Review

Score: 58.7 / 100

Asus Fonepad Note 6 is a pretty good portable tablet, featuring a very powerful Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 2 GHz, a 6" capacitive touch-screen, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.2 megapixels front facing camera. Is that all? Not at all, it's just the introduction.

Asus made the Asus Fonepad Note 6available only in white color. The Asus Fonepad Note 6 doesn't feel very lightweight for a tablet device of this size, weighting 7.41 oz. This tablet only has 6.49" long, but it still manages to hold a 6 inches screen. Even though this device is thin and comfortable it's not as thin as many other tablets you can find, with a thickness of 0.41 inches.

Asus decided to equip this tablet using a Intel Atom Z2580 system chip, packing a high-tech 2 GHz Dual-Core processor with a big 2 GB of RAM. This tablet has a good 16 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card, allowing the user to store hundreds of applications and games without running out of space.

This tablet has a spectacular 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 6-inches display, providing this tablet with an amazing graphical experience. Its display uses Super IPS+ LCD capacitive technology, with a 380 candela/m2 brightness and has multi-touch detection.

The Asus Fonepad Note 6 includes wifi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and fast 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front camera. It also shoots videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, this portable tablet's camera also features auto-focus and geo tagging.

The Asus Fonepad Note 6 also includes a couple cool features as Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Asus is offering this device for $ 249, which is a really high price for a tablet device this level. The Asus Fonepad Note 6 is probably a good choice no matter if you will use this portable tablet for gaming or want this tablet device mostly for social networks and internet browsing.
