Comparison review

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a little bit better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, with a score of 68.5 against 65.5. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's construction is newer, somewhat thinner and extremely lighter than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.2.2 version while Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2 version, providing the user some nice extra features.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a superior hardware performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a weaker 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better display than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a way higher screen density.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 takes much better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a much smaller aperture and a camera with lot less mega-pixels. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has as much storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, both have equal 64 GB internal memory.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a very superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
