Acer Iconia B1 is a little bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire, with a score of 44.2 against 42.5. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Acer Iconia B1 has a more recent 4.1.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire has Android 2.3. Acer Iconia B1's body is newer, a little thinner and much lighter than the Amazon Kindle Fire.

The Acer Iconia B1 features a little faster processing unit than Amazon Kindle Fire, and although they both have 512 MB of RAM and 2 cores, the Acer Iconia B1 also has an extra graphics co-processor. Acer Iconia B1 features a display that is just as good as the Amazon Kindle Fire one, both of them have a screen of the same size, a greater pixel quantity in each inch in the screen and exactly the same resolution of 600 x 1024.

The Acer Iconia B1 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire.
