Comparison review

The Toshiba Excite 10 is a little bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire, having a 45 score against 42.5. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Toshiba Excite 10 has a newer 4.0 version and Amazon Kindle Fire has Android 2.3, offering a couple additional features and increased performance. Although Toshiba Excite 10 and Amazon Kindle Fire were only released with a few months difference, the Toshiba Excite 10 body is much thinner but also much heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire.

The Amazon Kindle Fire features a slightly better looking screen than Toshiba Excite 10, because although it has a really smaller display and a much lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display. The Amazon Kindle Fire has a much more powerful processing unit than Toshiba Excite 10, although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (although faster).

Toshiba Excite 10 features a lot better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire. Toshiba Excite 10 features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire, because it has 16 GB internal storage capacity. The Amazon Kindle Fire and the Toshiba Excite 10 count with similar battery performance.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Toshiba Excite 10 is also by far the cheapest one.
