Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is just a bit better than iPad 10.2 (2020), having a global score of 68.3 against 62.2. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is an older and thicker tablet than iPad 10.2 (2020), but Samsung managed to build it much lighter anyway. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with Android 8.1 Oreo OS, while iPad 10.2 (2020) counts with iPadOS 18.x OS.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a way better processing power than Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), although it has a lower number of cores and 1 GB less RAM memory. Apple iPad 10.2 (2020) features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a better pixels quantity per inch of screen, a bigger display and a much better 1620 x 2160px resolution.

The iPad 10.2 (2020) features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the iPad 10.2 (2020) also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much better battery life than iPad 10.2 (2020).
