Comparison review
IPad 10.2-inch has an overall score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPad mini 3's score of 77.5. The iPad 10.2-inch body is much newer and just a little thinner, but also extremely heavier than Apple iPad mini 3. The iPad 10.2-inch has a bit more powerful processing unit than Apple iPad mini 3, because although it has a 32-bit processing unit instead of 64-bits and doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores.
The iPad mini 3 has a more vivid display than iPad 10.2-inch, because although it has a much smaller display and a quite lower 1536 x 2048 resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixel density. IPad 10.2-inch captures slightly better videos and photos than iPad mini 3, and although they both have a F2.4 aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, the iPad 10.2-inch also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
IPad 10.2-inch and iPad mini 3 feature very similar storage for applications and games, they have the same internal memory capacity. The iPad 10.2-inch counts with a much longer battery life than iPad mini 3, because it has 8827mAh of battery capacity instead of 6350mAh.
Although Apple iPad 10.2-inch is a better device, it is more expensive than the iPad mini 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPad mini 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the iPad mini 3, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
