The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 66.3, which is much better than the iPad 2's 59.9 score. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a notably newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than the iPad 2. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 operating system, and iPad 2 has iOS 7.x operating system.
