The Apple iPad (2020) has a global score of 66.6, which is a bit better than the iPod Touch 5th Generation's score of 62.7. Apple iPad (2020) is a notably newer tablet device than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, although it's thicker and incredibly heavier. IPad (2020) counts with a very superior CPU than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a bit sharper display than iPad (2020), because although it has a way worse resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Apple iPad (2020), because it has 64 GB internal memory.
The iPad (2020) takes clearer pictures and videos than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same camera aperture, the iPad (2020) also has a lot better resolution back camera. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a very superior battery life than Apple iPad (2020).
Although Apple iPad (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPad (2020), else you can save some dollars and get the iPod Touch 5th Generation, giving up a couple specs and features.
