Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is just a bit better than Apple iPad (2020), having a 68.3 score against 66.6. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) design is lighter than the Apple iPad (2020), but it is somewhat thicker and was released 2 years before. The iPad (2020) features a more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the iPad (2020) also has a 64-bits processor.
IPad (2020) features a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a larger screen, a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1620 x 2160px. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a superior storage to install applications and games than iPad (2020), and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much longer battery lifetime than iPad (2020). Apple iPad (2020) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Apple iPad (2020) also counts with a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is not only the best tablets of the ones in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones, making this tablet a great choice.
