Comparison review
IPad Air 2 has a general score of 74.2, which is a bit better than iPad 3's global score of 68.2. The iPad Air 2 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also notably lighter and extremely thinner than the iPad 3. These tablets include iOS OS, but iPad Air 2 has a more recent 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 7.x, providing some nice extra features.
IPad Air 2 counts with a better performance than iPad 3, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory and a 64-bits CPU. The Apple iPad Air 2 features a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPad 3. Both have the same quantity of pixels in each inch in the display, an equal 2048 x 1536 resolution and a display of the same size.
IPad Air 2 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than iPad 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and the same aperture, the iPad Air 2 also has a camera with a lot higher resolution. IPad Air 2's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to iPad 3's one, both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity.
The Apple iPad 3 features a way better battery life than iPad Air 2, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity.
