Comparison review
IPad Air is a bit better than iPad 3, with a 74.1 score against 69.5. These tablets come with iOS OS (operating system), but the iPad Air has 8.x version and iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 version. The iPad Air design is newer, way lighter and somewhat thinner than the iPad 3. IPad Air has a bit sharper screen than iPad 3. Both of them have a display with the same size, a greater pixels number in each inch in the display and the same exact 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The iPad Air has a greater performance than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount, the iPad Air also has a 64-bit CPU and an additional graphics co-processor. The Apple iPad Air's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to iPad 3's one, both of them have equal 32 GB internal memory.
The Apple iPad 3 features better battery duration than iPad Air, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity against 8820mAh. The iPad Air counts with a bit better camera than Apple iPad 3. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back facing camera with a 5 mega pixels.
The iPad Air not only is the best devices in our comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
