The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a global score of 72.2, which is a bit better than Apple iPad 3's 69.5 global score. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer and just a little thinner device than the Apple iPad 3, but it is somewhat heavier.
The iPad 3 features a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels number in each screen inch and a slightly better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a bit more powerful processor than iPad 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
